Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city sits in perfect contrast to the peaceful tranquility of the surrounding Lothian region. Edinburgh has one of the most beautiful cityscapes in the world. With Scotland's most famous castle dominating the city skyline, there is plenty to see and do with the perfect balance between traditional and contemporary.

Here are just a few places you can explore this summer:

Hopetoun House

Hopetoun House is one of the most splendid examples of Georgian architecture in Britain, being the work of Scottish architects Sir William Bruce and William Adam.

Situated just outside Edinburgh, the House is set in 150 acres of rolling parkland with extensive woodland walks and a deer park. The magnificent interiors boast fine paintings, original furnishings and décor, tapestries and objects d’art.
