I’ve been big on mountain-biking for a few years since my student days in
Leeds when my mates took me riding over some great rough terrain in Dalby Forest
and other places in the Dales. It is fantastic to be able to get out of the city
and do something that gets you right away from work. Not that I could think about
work even if I wanted to, as you need to concentrate 100% if you are on a tricky
technical section. One mistake and you can be in a ditch! The spring is a great
time to get out and train as there are some big rides in early summer and you need
to get fit. April is good but May can be a real disaster because of my hayfever.
I can’t concentrate and get really itchy. One of the lads used to suffer too
and introduced me to Clarityn Allergy (loratadine). Great relief and I can get on
with my training without having to worry about hayfever.

Like most children, my son Jack loves to play outside with his friends. Now that
he is in year 2, he is getting really keen on his football and wants to train when
he can. But in the spring and early summer, he ended up stuck inside with a running
nose and itchy eyes thanks to his hayfever. I help at the school PTA and one of
the other mums told me about Clarityn Allergy (loratadine) after our meeting one day. She said that she
uses Clarityn (loratadine) Syrup for her children when they suffer from
hayfever and other allergies and it is OK for children over the age of two to use.
I tried Jack out with Clarityn (loratadine) Syrup and he was fine. Now he’s
back outside with his friends running around and playing football and I can worry
about our next fund-raising activity rather than Jack being inside.

I work in a gardening centre in Kent and I really love my job as I learn about all
sorts of plants and help people choose the right ones for their garden whether it
is a small city pad or a rural garden in the country. The problem is that I suffer
quite badly from hayfever which means that when the plants start pollinating in
spring, and we start to get really busy, my dream job becomes my nightmare job.
My eyes start itching really badly and you want to rub them which only makes it
worse. When it gets really bad, I have to take myself away from the plants and work
inside which is really frustrating. One of my regular customers told me about Clarityn
Allergy (loratadine) after a particularly bad phase and now I can get on with the
job I enjoy without worrying about my hayfever.

I work in a busy accountancy firm in Edinburgh which keeps me out of trouble during
the day and pays the bills. In my spare time, I’m a bit of a wannabe band
player as I help some friends with parties they do at wedding parties or ceilidhs.
This really hots up in the spring and early summer when people plan a lot of their
weddings. I love the fact that our music is the sort that everyone can enjoy and
join in with. What I don’t enjoy is the fact that the time we are busy is
also the time that the pollen count is up. This makes me sneeze and my nose run
– not great when you are trying to perform at someone’s wedding! One of the
hotel staff at a place we played recently told me about Clarityn Allergy (loratadine).
I now use it before events and it helps me to keep my sneezing under control.

I’ve recently started as a student in Manchester which was my first choice for my course and
I’m really enjoying it. However, last summer I was really worried that I wasn’t
going to get anywhere, let alone my first choice because of my hayfever. I used to get
really watery eyes and an itchy nose. To cap it all, the sneezing was awful which made
me really popular in the library when I was trying to revise and I really couldn’t concentrate.
My teacher wanted me to have the best chance of doing well in my exams and told me to get an
anti-histamine tablet. I chose Clarityn Allergy (loratadine) because it doesn’t make you drowsy.
I stocked up in advance of my key exams and it worked out really well.
I know what I am doing for my first year exams this summer!
